Schedule your consultation in person or over the phone with G2 Director of Mental Training, Dr. Lauren Tashman. The first part of your consultation will be profiling the strengths and areas for improvement of your mental game.
Together, you and Lauren will go over how the mind influences your performance on the golf course and provide an overview of techniques that can be applied to improve performance.
Based on the initial assessment, Lauren will provide some simple drills and tips you'll be able to implement in your practice and play to improve your mental performance.
Building confidence and maintaining that confidence under pressure is vital to winning golf tournaments in junior golf, college golf, and professional golf. G2 Girls learn how to create that internal belief in themselves and practice grit, mental toughness, and resilience under pressure.
Knowing what emotions help you to perform to your potential as well as those that challenge your game is essential for being able to navigate the ups and downs on the course. Having the ability to regulate your emotions, stay composed, and reset when you experience a setback on course can help you come back from those challenges instead of letting them affect the next shot.
Our mental training program teaches G2 Girls how to regulate their focus and mindset in order to perform effectively on course. G2 Girls are also taught to have a growth mindset, focused on learning and working toward the big picture and overall development of their game.

Dr. Lauren S. Tashman, CMPC© is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC©) with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), helping athletes use their minds to their advantage as well as develop and hone leadership skills.
Lauren “fell” into sport psychology after growing up doing competitive equestrian show jumping for 13 years. She completed her PhD at Florida State University, was a professor and mental coach at a Division II university for 7.5 years, and has worked for over 10 years with a variety of sports, such as golf, softball, baseball, gymnastics, soccer, rowing, swimming and diving, tennis, basketball, and volleyball at a variety of levels including youth, collegiate, recreational, professional, and national/Olympic.
