The G2 Girl spends each day making herself a better golfer. She is committed to achieving her dream of collegiate golf and is constantly working towards achieving her goal. The G2 Girl is unlike other teenage girls – she is focused on the future.
Structured Schedule = Easier Transition to College Golf
The schedule of a college golfer is rigorous, and requires self-discipline and time management skills to be successful. The G2 Academy schedule includes daily academics, golf training, fitness, development sessions, and study hours. G2 Girls learn how to manage their time efficiently and become more independent, giving them an advantage in the transition to the lifestyle of a college golfer.
The alarm goes off at 6:00AM and it’s time to eat a balanced breakfast to start the day off right. G2 Girls attend their core classes in the morning, then have lunch and head to the golf course.
Girls arrive at the golf course and begin practice by 2:00 PM each day. Their daily training will include intensive training and effective practice sessions and/or time on the course working on course management, mental training activities, and fitness.
G2 Girls return to Housing for dinner before evening Mental Training, College Placement, Fitness, or Leadership and Empowerment Sessions to round out their day. In the evening students have time to wind down and be girls, prepare for their next day, and spend time with their friends.
Just like collegiate athletes, G2 Girls have designated study time each day to ensure they are on track with their academics. The Girl LifeTeam is available to offer help and ensure girls are on task. By the time it’s “lights out”, G2 Girls are ready for bed!
